Job Title: SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent to join our team in the Virginia Beach area to oversee commercial construction projects. This role involves managing mid-size retail projects valued at $10M and serving as an Area Superintendent for larger projects valued between $10M-$15M. The Superintendent will ensure that construction activities adhere to the established plan and schedule, manage materials and contractors effectively, and maintain high standards of quality and cost control.

Hard Skills

• Commercial Superintendent experience (10+ years)

• Experience with commercial projects such as hotels, apartments, restaurants, fire houses, pharmacies, car washes

• Experience in managing ground-up projects valued $10M+

• Ability to read and understand contracts, codes, and blueprints

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently

• Strong communication skills

• Leadership and team management

• Problem-solving skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Work Environment

The position is based in our Chesapeake office with frequent field visits to various construction sites. Travel as needed for project management and oversight.
