Job Title: Residential Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Residential Electrician to install electrical conduits, wiring, and components, as well as generators and transfer switches. This role involves leading a small team to complete installation projects efficiently and on schedule, educating customers about electrical and generator systems, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting, mentoring and training junior team members, maintaining clear communication with clients and customers, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes, and adapting to a variety of tasks as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical conduits, wiring, and components

• Install generators and transfer switches

• Lead a small team to complete installation projects efficiently and on schedule

• Educate customers about electrical and generator systems when needed

• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting

• Mentor and train junior team members

• Maintain clear communication with clients and customers

• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes

• Adapt to a variety of tasks assigned by management, subject to change based on business needs

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of electrical experience

• Strong communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle

• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in small spaces

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (recent DMV Safe Driving Record required)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in running conduit, construction, generator installation, pulling wire, residential electrical troubleshooting, and reading blueprints

Work Environment

This position operates on a day shift schedule from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chesapeake, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
