Description:
In this position, you will be responsible for operations, maintenance, inspections, installation and training of the woodworking machinery. This includes troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical problems. You will perform repairs or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions. You will use manuals, schematics, and our maintenance program to check machinery and perform testing. Proper documentation pertaining to tasks performed is very important.
Requirements:
Knowledge and expertise in maintenance of machinery, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, welding, and PLC.
Ability to supervise, direct, and train others effectively as a team member.
Electrical and construction or residential backgrounds are preferred.
Experience with woodworking machinery preferred
Ability to read schematics both mechanical and electrical, not limited to technical manuals, procedures, and regulations
Able to use hand and power tools
Able to lift 50+lbs as needed
Good communication skills and friendly personality
Strong computer skills
Able to multi-task while remaining organized
Able to work unsupervised
Ability to supervise, direct, and train others effectively
