Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to perform high-quality machining operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machining equipment, including tool setting, gaging, measuring machined parts, and troubleshooting error codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of parts before running.

• Conduct complete inspections of parts according to process sheets.

• Check all dimensions on process sheets using standard shop computations.

• Make minor adjustments to tooling offsets.

• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.

• Control tool life management system.

• Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues.

• Schedule multi-pallet cells.

• Set up and run all jobs on multi-pallet cells.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating machining equipment, including tool setting, gaging, and measuring machined parts.

• Ability to troubleshoot error codes and read g-code.

• Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

• Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school) preferred.

• Field of Study: Technical (Programming or Machining Apprenticeship) preferred.

• Experience with CMM, Claw Grinders, Sand Blasting, Coating, Drill Presses, Deburring, and Cleaning stations preferred.
