Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to perform high-quality machining operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machining equipment, including tool setting, gaging, measuring machined parts, and troubleshooting error codes.
Responsibilities
Perform visual inspection of parts before running.
Conduct complete inspections of parts according to process sheets.
Check all dimensions on process sheets using standard shop computations.
Make minor adjustments to tooling offsets.
Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
Control tool life management system.
Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues.
Schedule multi-pallet cells.
Set up and run all jobs on multi-pallet cells.
Essential Skills
Experience operating machining equipment, including tool setting, gaging, and measuring machined parts.
Ability to troubleshoot error codes and read g-code.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school) preferred.
Field of Study: Technical (Programming or Machining Apprenticeship) preferred.
Experience with CMM, Claw Grinders, Sand Blasting, Coating, Drill Presses, Deburring, and Cleaning stations preferred.
