Job Title: Laborer
Job Description
Assist in the installation of underground utilities and piping at industrial facilities, including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and shipyards. Prepare grades for the installation of piping and ductbanks, and cut, prepare, and assemble pipe systems of various materials such as PVC, HDPE, ductile iron, copper, steel, and concrete pipe.
Responsibilities
Assist in the installation of underground utilities.
Assist in the installation of piping and equipment at industrial facilities.
Prepare grades for the installation of piping and ductbanks.
Cut, prepare, and assemble pipe systems of various materials including PVC, HDPE, ductile iron, copper, steel, and concrete pipe.
Maintain clean job sites.
Essential Skills
Experience in construction labor and utility laying.
Ability to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions.
Comfortable with heavy lifting (in excess of 50 lbs.) and working at heights for an 8-10 hour workday.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Effective oral communication skills.
Organization and planning skills.
Interpersonal competencies including a drive for results, the need for closure, trust, respect, dependability, and cooperation.

This role involves working outdoors from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. Be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
