Aston Carter HR Administrative Assistant in Chesapeake, Virginia

Job Title: HR Admin - Start ASAP- End January 17th

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Admin to join our Employee Relations team. This role involves organizing and managing employee records, building new files with HR documents, and completing various phases of data entry and file management.

Responsibilities

  • Phase 1: Filing and organizing all personnel information and records.

  • Phase 2: Categorizing files in different orders, grouping based on names, and creating organized files.

  • Phase 3: Entering personal information (name, employee ID, location, type of documents) into the system and scanning documents into the digital system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds (file boxes can be heavy).

  • 1-3 years of administrative experience.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment

. The work schedule is from 8:30am to 4:30pm EST, with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $15.00
