Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description
Operate a bulldozer to raise or lower terrain to the specified grade by following markings on grade stakes or hand signals. The role also includes servicing and making normal operating adjustments to the equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate bulldozer in successive passes to achieve specified terrain grade.
Follow markings on grade stakes or hand signals to guide operations.
Service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
Essential Skills
Experience with bulldozer operations (1 to 3 years).
Knowledge of construction techniques.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with DOT regulations (preferred but not required).
Proficiency with fine grading and GPS systems like Tremble GPS and Topcon.
Dependability, productivity, effective communication, adherence to policies and procedures, and a commitment to working safely.

Work Environment
Work outdoors in all elements. The role occasionally requires walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, tasting, and smelling. You must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
