Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to assist in upgrading inventory bins at Amazon sites, making them more automation-friendly. The role involves loading and unloading materials/pallets from trucks and moving materials within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Operate stand-up forklifts to load and unload incoming materials/pallets from trucks

Move materials within the warehouse efficiently and safely

Handle and transport inventory bins as part of site upgrades

Essential Skills

Current Forklift Certification

Experience with stand-up forklifts

Proficiency in material handling

Ability to operate pallet jacks

Experience in loading and unloading trucks in a distribution environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a distribution environment

Work Environment

Work at Amazon ORF4, located at 1795 Dam Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA. The facility is currently in the construction phase, featuring a construction work environment with port-a-potties and non-climate controlled conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
