Aston Carter Administrative Assistant Contract in Chesapeake, Virginia

Description:

This role assists in the organizational process and acts as a liaison between the company and its customers. This individual must be able to solve problems, make informed decisions, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment to achieve maximum results.

• Monitor client solicitations and prospective requirements.

• Maintain positive and realistic dialog with clients.

• Prioritize requirements for review by the Inventory Manager.

• Maintain a proactive posture regarding fulfilling client requirements.

• Enter contracts into systems and maintain accuracy.

• Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

• Apply basic data review, processing, time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.

• Adhere to company policies, legal aspects, and procedures to resolve routine issues.

• Other duties may be assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 1+ year of clerical experience.

• Experience in working with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.

• Demonstrated ability to consistently provide support for all levels.
