MIDAS Data Engineering org within Digital Acceleration is looking for a highly motivated Senior TPM to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in leading build and delivery of foundational data products that are used by multiple L10 organizations within Digital.

Our products are used by 40+ digital teams for gaining efficiency on customer segmentation, marketing targeting, privacy compliance, cataloging of data assets, ensuring data quality and accelerating machine learning feature development.

In this role you will work with a team of development managers, wide array of engineering job families, product and vast userbase of digital stakeholder leadership. You will be primarily responsible to scope technical efforts, set project priorities, milestones, and drive delivery of complex/cross-functional projects

Key job responsibilities

• You partner with product managers to deeply understand the business and technical requirements of the solutions being built and drive the right outcomes.

• you focus on the larger business and technology picture (i.e., customer experience, processes, opportunities, and/or problems to be solved).

• You help your customers and the engineering teams make appropriate trade-offs by considering the larger picture (e.g., business goals, user experience, dependency impacts, efficiency, availability, operability).

• You determine if success metrics are in place, and if not work to define them.

• To meet timelines and minimize disruption to builder teams, you manage the overall schedule, proactively mitigate risks, and keep the scope of engineering efforts under control.

• You own program communication.

• You accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., “Path to green”), escalating appropriately.

About the team

MIDAS (Metrics Insights and Discovery Analytical services) is a foundational org that supports critical data pipelines and data products that enables Digital Organizations within Amazon. We own a suite of self-service data products that enable both tech and non-technical users to access data for driving customer growth and technical operations

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

• 3+ years of software development experience

• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
