Prime Video is disrupting traditional media with an ever-increasing selection of movies, TV shows, Emmy Award-winning original content, add-on subscriptions including HBO and Showtime, and live events like Thursday Night Football. Making great content available to customers with high availability is just one part of the puzzle. Experimenting with different ways of making this content available to customers is equally important.

Amazon Prime Video is looking to hire an insightful, results-oriented RPA Business Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in generating and driving analysis for the Prime Video RPA (Robotic Process Automation) team.

As an RPA Business Analyst, you will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of priorities, competitive pressures, and operational initiatives. You will partner closely with program, product, and technology teams (within Customer Service and across partner teams) to define and build innovative and delightful experiences for customers. You must be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and have the ability to break complex problems down into steps that drive product development at Amazon speed.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Collaborates with the Solution Architects, Business Partners, Application Development, and Software Quality Assurance Teams to understand scope, solutions, constraints, and risk

  2. Ensure timely escalation of project related risks/issues to the project team. Interacting with internal stakeholders to deep-dive outlier events

  3. Communicate identified risks and collaborate in developing mitigation strategies

  4. Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities

  5. Communicating complex analysis and insights to our stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing

  6. Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format

  7. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding to discern user needs and key requirements.

You will partner closely with program, product and technology teams (within Prime Video Marketing and across partner teams throughout Prime Video) to define and build innovative and delightful experiences for customers. You must be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and have the ability to break complex problems down into steps that drive product development at Amazon speed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience

  • Experience with SQL or ETL

  • Experience with UiPath RPA tool

  • 2+ years of experience as an analyst or engineer in the data/Business Intelligence space

  • Have built analytical solutions to solve business problems.

  • Ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of business systems and business logic

Preferred Qualifications

  • UiPath Certified Business Analysis

  • Two years post-baccalaureate experience in gathering requirements through workflow analysis and functional gap analysis; documenting process flow diagrams; and using Agile and User Story creation in a Scrum environment
