Senior Manager - Cybersecurity

Position Overview:

Siemens Enlighted is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Cybersecurity to lead our cybersecurity efforts and ensure the security of our clouds and smart building solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard our systems, data, and infrastructure against cyber threats and attacks. He/She will also lead a small team of cybersecurity professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks, address vulnerabilities, and drive continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect Enlighted’s cloud infrastructure and SaaS / hardware products.

• Lead and mentor the cybersecurity team, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure effective execution of cybersecurity initiatives and projects.

• Manage Siemens corporate cybersecurity and compliance initiatives including the ‘Product and Solution Security’ program, privacy topics including GDPR, and other internal mandates.

• Lead SOC2 Type 2 annual attestations and work with team leads to generate proper evidence.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential cybersecurity risks and threats, and develop mitigation plans accordingly.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, IT, and operations, to integrate cybersecurity best practices into all aspects of the business.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and ensure that Siemens Enlighted's cybersecurity practices remain current and effective.

• Oversee incident response and management processes, including investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents and breaches in a timely and effective manner.

• Lead the risk awareness / acceptance process to bring visibility of cybersecurity risks to senior management.

• Perform evaluations of external vendors, tools, and cloud solutions for cybersecurity risk.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, customers, and industry organizations to stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and collaborate on security initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

• At least 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of progressively increasing responsibility and leadership.

• Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices, including network security, application security, encryption, and identity and access management.

• Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures in a complex, multi-platform environment.

• In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management is required

• Detailed knowledge of AWS, GCP or Azure required.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and communicate cybersecurity risk to senior leadership.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.

• Experience in the smart building industry or related IoT (Internet of Things) technologies is a plus.

• Experience with the Wiz Cloud Security tool is a plus.
