Location: Chennai, India Reports to Position: IT Operations Manager

Job Summary:

As a Senior Adobe Commerce Support, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of e-commerce shops and focus will be on customer support within the Magento 2 cloud solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise : You’ll be well-versed in Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) and its ecosystem. Your deep understanding of the platform will allow you to troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and optimize performance.

  • Customer Support: You’ll serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in managing customer expectations.

  • Problem Solving: You’ll analyze complex problems related to Adobe Commerce implementations, identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions. Your ability to think critically and creatively will be invaluable.

  • Collaboration: You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and project managers. Collaborating effectively will be crucial to delivering successful ecommerce projects.

  • Documentation: You’ll maintain detailed records of support requests, solutions, and best practices. Clear documentation ensures consistency and helps improve processes.

  • Continuous Learning: Staying up-to-date with Adobe Commerce updates, industry trends, and best practices is essential. You’ll actively seek knowledge to enhance your expertise.

  • System development: implementation, support, maintenance and administration of the systems/applications in scope

    Responsibilities and authorities

  • With being self-driven take necessary actions on upcoming request / tasks.

  • Second level support, i.e. service requests and incidents.

    Key competences

  • Adobe Commerce (Magento 2 cloud) Expertise : A deep understanding of Adobe Commerce, including its architecture, modules, and customization capabilities. Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing performance is crucial. Good knowledge of PHP development.

  • Technical Troubleshooting : Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Adobe Commerce installations, extensions, and integrations.

  • Customer Service : Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, understand their needs, and provide effective solutions. Patience and empathy are essential.

  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and propose solutions. Adaptability and creativity in addressing unique challenges.

  • Collaboration : Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and project managers. Effective collaboration ensures successful ecommerce projects.

  • Documentation : Maintaining detailed records of support requests, solutions, and best practices. Clear documentation improves processes and consistency.

    Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, information systems or demonstrated equivalent education and relevant work experience.

  • Certified Magento developer, 5+ years professional experience.

  • Proven track record within the E-Commerce area.

  • Experience from working in similar role.

    Languages Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

    Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
