Amazon Program Manager, CMT in Chennai, India

Description

The Program Manager will be responsible for working with several business stakeholders including category leaders, pricing SMEs, operations and tech leaders on an ongoing basis to help deliver on our vision of delighting customers globally with low prices and great value, all the time.

The ideal candidate would have the ability to work with global stakeholders at all levels to drive business goals

The ideal candidate would be a quick learner, who combines analytical acumen and communication skills. He/ She will dive deep to understand key drivers of the business problems, collaborate with partner teams to ideate and formulate solutions, and advocate systemic improvements where required.

Key job responsibilities

• Support critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Project manage business deliverables by tracking key milestones, working backwards from established deadlines

• Dive deep to understand the intricacies of processes, their interrelationships

• Drive root cause analysis of customer centric problem statements

• Write compelling business documents with structured narratives

• Mine and analyze data to track key metrics and support decision making

• Drive continuous process improvement

About the team

CMT (Competitor Monitoring Team) is an integral part of Pricing organization enabling Amazon’s pricing strategy and operations. CMT’s primary focus is to provide on-time and accurate competitive pricing inputs to help make great pricing decisions. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customers' buying decisions and Amazon’s topline & profitability

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience of working with global stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA with 3+ years of program management experience in CX improvement/ Pricing/ Benchmarking/ Quality/ Continuous Improvement domains

  • Experience in building, improving and re-engineering business processes and business analytics.

  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business customers and deliver results within timelines

  • Past track record of ideation/innovation to solve complex business problems
