What’s the role?

As we transition to cleaner forms of energy, the challenge facing the energy industry in the coming decades is considerable. To support Shell’s ambition, the Data Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning models as well as refining and updating existing models. ​We are looking for a passionate Python developer who have exposure in Machine Learning Concepts. A well-rounded AI developer combines technical skills with domain knowledge and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about AI/ML and stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and related technologies.

What's the role?

• Strong working experience in Python

• Hands on experience of Machine Learning concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, and clustering

• Able to develop and implement machine learning models using Python and frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.

• Strong understanding of Deep Learning concepts and conduct experiments and analyze results to optimize model performance and accuracy

• Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.

• Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights

• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts to build robust and scalable AI systems.

• Knowledge of version control, testing, and deployment practices.

What we need from you?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Min of 2 to 3 years of experience as a Python developer with ML.

• Design and develop solutions using Machine Learning (ML) Techniques.

• User centric reporting using PY open source tools as nice to have

• Knowledge in building web apps/UI/Reporting using Python packages like Plotly Dash, Streamlit and Panel etc. with User Centric design is an advantage.

• Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required.

• Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML services

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
