Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking candidates for the Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) Senior Manager position at our Chelmsford, Massachusetts operating location. Chelmsford is a Center of Excellence of RF microelectronics and provides products and services across manufacturing, engineering design & development, and sustainment for multiple Lines of Business.

What You Will Be Doing

Reporting directly to the MFC Finance Line of Business Director for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) with matrix reporting responsibilities to the Chelmsford Site Director, this position is responsible for providing strategic and tactical multi-functional finance leadership to ensure the site functional and program teams meet or exceed financial and performance goals.

Lockheed Martin Chelmsford operations encompasses scope across the entire product lifecycle including full-rate production, engineering development, transition-to-production, IRAD, proposal, and sustainment programs. Duties will include partnering with cross-functional leadership including Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Contracts and Supply Chain to ensure daily operations and strategies align with policy and achieve cost and schedule goals.

The selected candidate will serve as a member of the senior leadership team and contribute to setting and executing the strategic direction of the Chelmsford business. The ability to identify future trends/risks, recommend alternative methods and implement selected action plans is required. The preferred candidate will be a strong change agent for improving financial rigor and acumen across site operations.

This position will lead a multi-functional finance team and the execution of financial Long Range Plan (LRP), Bid & Proposal activities and monthly financial outlooks for Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash, as well as quarterly Contract/Cost Status Reviews (CSR). The candidate will also provide financial data and leadership to various program reviews including Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and Performance Assessment Reviews (PARs). Together they will partner with the Program to ensure the accuracy in developing and reporting Estimate at Complete (EAC) for the program and a fully integrated IMS. This includes evaluation of risks and opportunities, critical path analysis, performing rate impact analysis and understanding impacts of changes on program baselines and EACs.

Basic Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to plan, lead and manage organizational change, strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience developing and delivering presentation material to senior levels of management (including the corporate level), . Experience building and/or evaluating business cases, experience in the direct and informal (partnering) leadership. Candidate will possess strong financial acumen, analytical skills, as well as financial planning and interpersonal skills, full spectrum leadership skills, direct management and supervisory experience.

Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

A wide range and depth of Business Operations experience including developing vision, strategy and goals of programs from initial proposal through execution and closeout.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
