What's the role about?

As part of our retail team, you'll be joining our concession at John Lewis in our Chelmsford location.

John Lewis Buddy Role and Responsibilities

Drive performance, through commercial action and excellent standards.

Review commercial reports during each visit to identify key opportunities, successes and take appropriate action to drive sales.

Review and maintain shop floor standards and VM, implement latest VM directionc across shop floor and mannequins.

Plan time in with JL manager for one visit per week to share insight and observations.

Feedback observations and any required action to AVM, Merch team and area manager.

Manage stock on both shop floor and stock room. Including fragmentation, best, worse sellers and repairable faulty stock.

Replenish shops floors, checking that full size ranges are on display where stock allows.

Maintain Model Store BOH standards in the stockroom.

Spot check prices are aligned with the current Reiss pricing and immediately follow up any discrepancies.

Ensure JL teams are completing IBT's within requested timeframe.

Maximise sales opportunities through JL marketing activity and personal shopping.

Build relationship with personal shopping team, providing seasonal training and sharing brand assets.

Be a true Reiss ambassador delivering brand values and sharing key seasonal messages when working with the JL team.

  • To note John Lewis team are responsible for processing deliveries and pre retailing stock including steaming of all garments. JL are also responsible for replenishing the stock floor stock in between Reiss JL buddy store visits, to ensure that the Reiss fixtures are fully stocked at all times.
