POSITION: Senior Clerk Typist - 12 Month

LOCATION: Cleveland Hill School District

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, including or supplemented by a course in typing, and one (1) year of office clerical experience

• Must beeligibleandqualifiedin accordance with the rules, regulations and administration of Civil Service Law of the State of New York. Must take the Civil Service exam when next offered. Must bereachableon the list.

SALARY: $17.51-$18.50/Hour

PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ATTRIBUTES AND CHARACTERISTICS:

Good knowledge of modern office terminology, procedures and equipment; good knowledge of business arithmetic and English; good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or other necessary computer software; ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions; ability to type from clear copy or rough draft at an average rate of speed; clerical aptitude; sound judgment; neatness; tact and courtesy; capable of performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
