Living Legends Health Dietary Supervisor in CHEEKTOWAGA, New York

Description

Garden Gate Healthcare Facility is seeking a motivated Dietary Supervisor to lead our dietary team and ensure residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Supervise dietary staff, providing training, scheduling, and support.

  • Ensure resident dietary needs and preferences are met, including special diets.

  • Monitor food preparation, serving, and storage for quality and safety.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve services and enhance resident satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records, inventory, and ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting but not required.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of dietary regulations and safe food handling practices.

  • Certification in food safety (preferred).

  • Compassionate and team-oriented mindset.
