Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for order filing, receiving inventory, preparing and shipping orders, and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Document packaging activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry.

• Perform Cart Put Away, Restock Picking and assist with inventory cycle counts on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment.

• Work with scanner all day to help move, pick and put away items daily.

• Go out to customer sites and assist with putting up racking and moving inventory.

• Sort, maintain, and stage product.

• Put away stock ensuring proper labeling and placement.

• Receive PO, pick product, package for shipping.

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips.

Work Environment

Non-climate controlled warehouse environment. PPE required includes jeans/long pants, high visibility vest, and steel-toe shoes. Working hours are 8am-5pm. Punctuality is crucial, with arrival expected at 8:00am sharp.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
