Transmission Line Associate Project Manager
We are seeking a Transmission Line Associate Project Manager who can perform a broad range of supervisory responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to coordinate with clients, vendors, engineers, colleagues, and other electric utilities personnel. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with clients, peers, and affiliates. The candidate should have working knowledge of computers and software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and specific technical applications like PLS-CADD and PLS-CADD Pole/Tower. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, scheduling software, and corporate accounting practices is necessary. A willingness to develop, promote, and comply with safety requirements is essential.

Responsibilities
Assist in planning, executing, and closing transmission line projects.
Support the Project Manager in coordinating project activities, resources, and schedules.
Promote and enforce safety requirements, ensuring all team activities comply with safety standards.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, reports, and technical specifications.
Facilitate communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholders. Ensure that project updates, issues, and changes are effectively communicated.
Help manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Monitor project progress and performance to ensure adherence to technical standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Identify potential project issues and assist in developing solutions to address them. Escalate critical issues to the Project Manager as needed.
Assist in tracking project expenses and budgets. Help ensure that projects are completed within allocated financial resources.
Proactively communicate and promote capabilities and strengths to new and existing customers. Interface with potential and existing clients, listen for and seek out new projects that may exist or are being formulated.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is highly desirable, preferably in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 4-6 years of transmission line design/engineering project experience with at least 1-2 years of experience managing engineering and design projects.
Ability to coordinate with and interface with clients, vendors, engineers, colleagues, and other electric utility personnel.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with clients, peers, and affiliates.
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
Working knowledge of corporate accounting practices and business operations.
Willingness to develop, promote, and comply with safety requirements.
Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) and PMP certification is highly desirable but not required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $64.90
