Job Description

An engineering client of Insight Global's is looking for a Protection and Controls Substation Engineer to join their team. This position is remote, with the requirement to come onsite once a month to their Chattanooga, TN office. This individual will be working with a team to complete P&C substation design projects. They will be responsible for creating detailed designs for one-line diagrams, AC/DC Schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, cable lists, bill of material, etc, mainly utilizing AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical. Additionally, they will be responsible for completing calculations, specifications, reports, plans, and drawings. The types of projects will include substation retrofits, upgrades, relay upgrades, etc. for high voltage substations 69kV to 500kV.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• 4+ years of experience within P&C design - EIT

• Experience in P&C design for generation plant switchyards null
