We are seeking a Payroll Clerk who will be instrumental in supporting our payroll department. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks related to payroll processing, maintaining accurate records, and addressing payroll-related inquiries. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth and efficient business operations of our company. Interview Immediately!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of Kronos Supervisors’ access and ensure the timely addition of projects

• Address and resolve inquiries and issues raised by employees and department heads related to payroll

• Prepare and maintain bi-weekly tax records and deductions accurately

• Process check requests for Accounts Payable and oversee the timely mailing of checks

• Collaborate with the Payroll Coordinator in testing and preparing for Kronos/PeopleSoft upgrades

• Ensure payroll edits are completed in a timely manner to meet payroll deadlines

• Handle phone calls and emails regarding payroll inquiries as and when required

• Learn to conduct a full payroll cycle to provide coverage when the Payroll Coordinator is unavailable

• Assist with other payroll-related tasks as needed

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and conduct Accounting Functions and Auditing as part of the role.

Requirements • Proficient knowledge of Accounting Software Systems is necessary

• Must demonstrate understanding of Accounting Functions

• Prior experience in Auditing is preferred

• Ability to manage and execute Benefit Functions effectively

• Experience with bi-Monthly Payroll is required

• Familiarity with Benefits Payroll is essential

• Expertise in Payroll management is a must

• Experience with Payroll In-House is desirable

• Ability to manage Payroll for Over 500 Employees is crucial
