Walden Security HRIS Analyst in Chattanooga, Tennessee

SUMMARY:

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for overseeing HR compliance at corporate and branch locations, generating legally required HR reports, auditing and reporting employee KPI metric sets, and responding to requests for information from internal and external stakeholders. The HRIS Analsyst supports updates of Human Resources (HR) technology systems including, but not limited to, system design, testing, implementation, and rollout of HR technology projects and process improvements and has the ability to execute highly complex, or specialized projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops customized system reports for monthly and quarterly KPI metric sets and provides results on KPI performance.

• Develops dashboard metrics to analyze overtime, turnover, retention and staffing data for use by management.

• Develops and prepares standard reports on data summaries, changes, and trends for use by management.

• Helps maintain data integrity in systems by auditing and analyzing data which will be used to improve and update systems.

• Assists HR Staff and system users in the optimal use of HR systems and reporting functions.

• Conducts I-9 audits and OSHA audits to ensure compliance.

• Receives and processes all internal requests for reports to include: HR, Marketing, Legal, and Accounting.

• Maintains ongoing training and updates on BI Tool/WinTeam capabilities.

• Analyzes HR processes and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Submits reporting data for yearly EEO-1 submission.

• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job may have supervisory responsibilities over any HR Interns assigned to projects overseen by the HRIS Analyst. The HR Analyst is subject to supervision from the Director of Human Resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university in HR, Business Administration, Business Management or related field; or minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The HRIS Analyst will be expected to keep up to date and current knowledge on HR compliance issues and will maintain active membership in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals in English language. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organizations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job succesfully, an induvidual should have knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS); WinTeam; MS Office; Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Drivers License

Human Resources Certification preferred

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
