Description We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the Banking industry at our Chattanooga, Tennessee location. In this role, you will be tasked with managing bookkeeping and accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing financial reports and statements.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping and accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

• Reconciling bank accounts, credit card statements, and investment accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Preparing monthly financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.

• Assisting with the preparation and management of budgets.

• Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.

• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.

• Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and improve financial operations.

• Providing support during audits and financial reviews.

• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel to manage accounting functions.

• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks.

• Conducting cash flow analysis and month-end close activities. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Solid understanding and experience with Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis

• Experience in preparing Monthly Financial Statements

• Proficient in performing Month End Close

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of banking industry regulations and guidelines

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
