BASIC FUNCTION:

Assist Construction Operations Manager (COM) with managing the life cycle of construction loans, ensuring compliance with lending policies, from application through project completion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate regular inspections and reviews to verify project progress and adherence to loan terms.

• Assist COM in the disbursement of construction funds, including verifying progress reports, contractor invoices and other third-party documentation.

• Assist COM in analyzing project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure they align with loan terms.

• Review contractor qualifications and assist in maintaining approved builder list.

• Ensure timely and accurate payment to providers for services engaged in connection with construction monitoring, such as inspectors, title companies and other construction related professionals.

• Work closely with loan officers and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information and documentation to complete draw requests in a timely and professional manner.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices for construction loan administration.

• Maintain a good working knowledge of loan policies and procedures and identify exceptions to policy.

• Provide technical assistance to loan officers as needed.

• Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND TRAINING:

• Background in construction loans preferred.

• Experience in real estate preferred.

• Must be highly proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Must possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to follow up and provide status updates clearly, concisely, and expediently.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Awareness of project schedules, goals, and milestones in order to properly plan and track to completion.

• Ability to present analysis, recommendations, and solutions to internal lending teammates.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

• Sitting for extended periods of time

• Lift 10-20lbs periodically

• Periodic travel

REQUIREMENTS:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and adhere to all state and federal regulations that pertain to this position including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Consumer Privacy and Fair Lending.

• Working knowledge of state and federal regulations including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Consumer Privacy and Fair Lending along with industry best practices that pertain to this position.
