Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37406, United States. This role is within the Wholesale Distribution - Dur Goods industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of invoices, performing 3-way matching functions, and conducting weekly check runs. Familiarity with Epicor and Microsoft Excel will be beneficial in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the accounts payable for 6 entities

• Processing a high volume of payable invoices on a weekly basis

• Performing 3-way matching functions for both goods and services

• Conducting weekly check runs to ensure timely payments

• Utilizing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for efficient account coding and management

• Leveraging Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic payments

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for maintaining and updating records

• Ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date

• Resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner

• Adhering to a business casual dress code and maintaining detail-oriented conduct at all times. Requirements • Experience with Account Coding is necessary

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is essential

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is expected

• Ability to handle Payable Invoices is required

• Experience with 3 Way Matching is beneficial

• Capability to conduct Check Runs is necessary

• Familiarity with Epicor software is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected
