Job Title: Procurement Analyst

Job Description

The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for advanced sourcing, strategically negotiating Long Term Agreements with the supply base, timely processing of request for quotes (RFQ), purchase orders, and building and maintaining supplier relationships to negotiate the best pricing and delivery. The role requires a detailed knowledge of buying goods. The Sr. Buyer will also oversee other buyers’ work products.

Hard Skills

  • Excel skills, including V-lookups and complex formulas (macros not required)

  • Experience dealing with manufacturers and other suppliers

  • Knowledge and skills in contract negotiations

  • Experience with physical inventory control

  • Ability to perform analysis and forecasting for long lead times

  • Minimum of 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Aerospace fastener buying experience

  • 3 years of proposal development

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chatsworth, California.

Work Environment

Opportunity to work a 9/8/80 shift (every other Friday or Monday off). Onsite work from Monday to Friday with no work-from-home option
