Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our team as an Entry-Level HVAC Installer. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin or advance their career in the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
- Work under the guidance of experienced HVAC technicians to ensure proper installation and functioning of HVAC systems.
- Measure and cut ductwork, pipe, and other materials necessary for installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and assist with troubleshooting HVAC systems.
- Handle equipment, tools, and materials in a safe and responsible manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure high-quality service.
- Assist in the testing and calibration of HVAC systems after installation to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and tools is a must.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in the HVAC field.
- Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and take direction from senior technicians.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including tight spaces.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience with sheet metal duct work and customization.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds).
- Comfort working in various weather conditions and environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops.
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
- Standing for long periods and walking between job sites.
