We re currently hiring mechanical assembly workers for a local company in Chaska. If you have strong mechanical skills and are comfortable with all types of hand and power tools, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Location: Chaska, MN Wage: $18 - $21/hr. Hours: 7 am 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday Benefits of the mechanical assembly worker: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life Insurance Disability Insurance Accident Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Duties of the mechanical assembly worker: Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine material requirements. Configure items for proper fitment. Bolt, glue, screw, or otherwise fasten parts together. Fabricate according to specifications, drawings, and/or verbal directions. Operate machines required for production work and assembling parts. Test fitment of parts before modifying pieces and parts. Measure, cut, and fasten plumbing materials such as PVC, stainless steel, copper, or galvanized pipes. Fasten and secure customized production material onto custom frames. Test equipment to ensure proper functionality. Assist with preparing systems and loose equipment for shipment. Requirements of the mechanical assembly worker: High school diploma or GED with one to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to measure quickly and accurately to 1/16th of an inch. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints. Experience and confidence with hand and power tools.
