Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Candidates will be working in the Chemical Receiving area handling materials on a sit-down forklift around the raw material warehouse. The role involves ensuring that all batches are weighed accurately and prioritized to contribute to the success of our customers. This includes producing batches based on production requirements, accurately documenting weighing transactions, and ensuring proper labeling and storage of weighed batches.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all batches are weighed as prioritized and in a manner to contribute to the success of our customers.

• Produce batches as prioritized daily (or based on production requirements).

• Ensure that chemicals are weighed in order unless otherwise specified.

• Accurately document weighing transactions on the batch record.

• Ensure that weighed batches are properly labeled and stored in the designated racks.

• Ensure that chemicals are accurately weighed to preserve batch integrity.

• Verify the correctness of chemicals by part numbers and lot numbers.

• Ensure the correct quantity of each chemical is weighed.

• Correct and document any errors according to SOP.

• Ensure every chemical is accurate prior to relocation.

• Investigate, document, and correct any discrepancies timely.

• Conduct cycle counts as necessary.

• Assist with bringing product over to the production area.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr.
