Job Title: Control Panel/Electrical Assembler

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled control panel wirer/builder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building large custom water purification and osmosis systems, essential for sports stadiums and large commercial buildings. Your duties will include working with control panels, wiring each panel onto the piping systems, and running conduit. You will work from schematics and blueprints in a collaborative, air-conditioned environment. This is a dynamic position in a project-based shop, where each week and month brings new challenges.

Shift Hours & Pay:

• 1st Shift Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)

• There are five openings for this opportunity, so apply ASAP! These positions will fill up quickly.

• Pay Range: $19.00-$25.00/per hour (depends on experience) (paid weekly)

Responsibilities

• Build and wire control panels for large custom water purification/osmosis systems.

• Work off schematics and blueprints to accurately build, tap, and drill in control panels.

• Run conduit by threading wire through piping systems.

• Inspect and test panels to ensure proper functionality.

• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.

• Collaborate with a team to complete projects in an indoor, air-conditioned environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Required:

• 1-2+ years of experience with control panel wiring and building

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

• 1+ year of experience using a tape measure, with the ability read measurements in both inches and centimeters.

• 1+ year of experience with hand and power tools

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Knowledge of AC/DC voltage.

• Preferred

• Experience running conduit

• Pre-Apprentice Electrician or Electrician certifications are advantageous.

• The job is located in a large new production shop with dedicated areas for assembly, wiring, and welding. The environment is very relaxed, and there is flexibility for taking time off when needed, as long as there is clear communication. The shop is air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable working temperature year-round.

Job Type & Location

• This is a 90-day Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, Minnesota.
