Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a freelance Web Content Writer for one of our local clients in Charlotte NC!
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Research and write clear, concise, and engaging web content on various healthcare topics, including medical treatments, healthcare policies, patient care, and wellness.
SEO Optimization: Develop content with best SEO practices to increase visibility and accessibility of our website. Collaborate with SEO specialists to implement keywords and optimize content structure.
Editing and Proofreading: Review content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readability. Ensure all medical content aligns with established brand voice and tone, and follows industry regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, marketing teams, and subject matter experts to ensure content aligns with clinical best practices and company standards.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all content adheres to healthcare industry standards, including HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. Fact-check medical information and ensure content is compliant with current guidelines.
Audience Engagement: Write content that addresses patient concerns, promotes health literacy, and enhances the user experience. Use patient-friendly language to make complex medical topics accessible.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in web content writing, specifically in the healthcare industry (2+ years preferred).
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a focus on grammar, clarity, and accuracy.
Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for web content.
Ability to convey complex medical information in a patient-friendly manner.
Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
In-depth understanding of healthcare terminology and concepts.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA compliance for healthcare communications.
