Truist’s Corporate Communications team is looking for a full-time Video Producer/Project Manager for their in-house studio. You will work out of our studio one-of-a-kind studio facility at Truist Center in the heart of Uptown Charlotte.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Relationship building across various lines of business.

  2. Directing multi-camera live studio productions

  3. Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for various internal and external marketing, corporate communications and line of business-related initiatives.

  4. Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables.

  5. Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.

  6. Plan video shoots: scout, select and reserve shoot locations.

  7. Work with producers to develop production schedules.

  8. Directing and coaching on-camera talent

  9. Working well with all teammates and project partners to balance creative storytelling goals with both the business and communications strategy as well as the proper brand voice.

  10. Ability to manage creative production projects, working with internal business partners from intake to completion.

  11. Highly organized project manager with a passion for detail regarding logistics, scope, and production scheduling

  12. Install, maintain, modify, operate and support complex production systems and equipment.

  13. Serve as the front door for multimedia work requests, using the Workfront project management platform for documentation and tracking.

  14. Manage project logistics, timelines, shoots (in-person and virtual), and deliverables for multiple projects at once.

  15. Work alongside video producers and stakeholders to ensure goals and objectives are met, on time and on budget.

  16. Manage team budgeting, invoicing and vendor management efforts.

  17. Must be able to lift heavy equipment, climb stairs, walk long distances when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Minimum seven years’ experience

  2. A visionary with a an extremely sharp eye for cinematic shooting, and an ability to execute on it with minimal crew support.

  3. Expert level experience in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Creative Suite, various professional grade camera systems including Panasonic, Sony, Canon and RED cameras and lenses

  4. Proficiency in both Mac and PC-based computer systems

  5. Embraces project feedback and professional coaching.

  6. Soft skills: professionalism, empathy, patience, grace and a One Team approach to every interaction

  7. A proactive, motivated daily self-starter

  8. Believes in the importance of a genuinely positive environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, Marketing

  2. Experience in Financial Services industry, or agency experience

  3. C-suite experience (solid ability to work with senior executives) a major plus
