TEKsystems Technical Operations Specialist - ServiceNow/Power Bi in Charlotte, North Carolina

No C2C ( Must work W2)

Must work on site 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC

TEKsystems is seeking a Technical and Operational Specialist to join our CTO team. This role will provide the technical and operational expertise needed to develop consumable and actionable metrics. The successful candidate will create and develop accurate, consistent messaging that addresses several key areas, including defining team messaging, reducing complex events into senior leader consumable detail, and utilizing tools like PowerPoint to consolidate the team’s story.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take data and place it into Power BI, draft significant bullet points, and create presentations.

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen by documenting complex problems and condensing extensive PowerPoint decks into concise, executive-ready presentations.

  • Understand technology and possess strong business skills, including data mining and pulling information from ServiceNow.

  • Work with incidents, problems, and changes, extracting data from ServiceNow reporting.

  • Summarize current state/issues with Excel/PowerPoint and direct information to appropriate teams and top executives at Wells Fargo.

  • Define team messaging for delivery across the Technology team.

  • Reduce complex events into senior leader consumable detail.

  • Utilize PowerPoint to consolidate the team’s story, including successes, value adds, and opportunities for automation.

  • Create visually appealing and effective presentations that convey information, ideas, or data.

  • Engage stakeholders by assessing the impact of communications and engaging them as needed.

  • Demonstrate project management and team-building skills.

  • Create technical documentation, such as tutorials and organizational systems, that are clear, concise, and valuable to consumers.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Power BI.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills.

  • Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change technology operations (ITSM model).

  • Experience in data mining and pulling data from ServiceNow.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.

  • Thick-skinned and mature, with experience working in a medium to large enterprise.
