Job Description:

This job is responsible for leading cross functional teams to manage infrastructure delivery, including initiatives within Application Production Services and Engineering. Key responsibilities include serving as a point of contact for application teams and working with Technology stakeholders, Service Providers, and the business to deliver the Infrastructure Portfolio. Job expectations may include oversight and management of programs, coordinating activities across functional teams, remediating or escalating issues, and ensuring funding levels are maintained for key technology strategies.

Overview:

The Supply Chain Administrator is an SME providing strategic and tactical oversight and escalation support for Release Managers and Engineers.Devise process, routine and methodology adjustments to a just-in-time procurement and warehouse structure that is administered by a third-party partner.Facilitates special circumstance actions and issues between the bank and its third-part supply chain partners. Inventory function encompasses the administration and facilitation of used/residual hardware inventory from bank location exits & decommissions. Escalation functions includes but is not limited to mitigating bankside or vendor related issue around OEM errors, supply chain issues, inventory adjustments to conditions, etc. Maintains procedural content for procurement practices and routines including quote, purchase, callout, staging services, delivery and disposal routines and asset inventory reconciliation.

This role requires a complete understanding of large scale, third-party procurement, warehouse, and distribution services. Applied experience with quote, requisition, approval and purchasing rigor for technology in a highly regulated industry. Applied experience in aligning warehouse routines and inventory management methodologies and systems. Familiarity with chain of custody, inventory in/out and device disposal risks and practices. Familiarity with Network Release Management, Enterprise Change Management, and Service Management. Concepts such as driving value, always delivering quality, keeping commitments, being on-time and under-budget, effective and detailed communications and understanding how the Network impacts how the firm competes in the marketplace are important.

The Supply Chain Administrator works closely with Functional leads, Release Managers, Deployment Engineers and Release and other Network Deployment SMEs as well as third-party partners. Must abide by Enterprise Change Management and Network Change Management policies and procedures. In addition to maintenance of process, workflow documentation and standards, the administratorprovides strategic direction,devises function methods, improvements, initiatives, and outputs. Assures the timely delivery of team-level status reports, forecasts, and results in accordance with documented procedures.

Requires strong analytical, organizational, process and workflow expertise, verbal, and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to work on their own, successfully deliver “best in class” function that sustains and advances an established Network Delivery function. Expected to perform consistently, at a high level in complex, highly controlled and regulated environment.

The Delivery Support, Content and Collaboration team provides a range of services supporting the Global Network Services Release and Deployment Management team. The Delivery Support group provides delivery forecasts, readiness review and report routines, vendor engagement support in the areas of procurement, warehouse and field services.

The Supply Chain & Warehouse Function provides procurement and inventory support services to the Network Release Management and Deployment Engineering functions.Maintains and continuously optimizes the just-in-time procurement and warehouse services that support corporate network deployments in a highly regulated and controlled environment.Monitors in-flight order flow to ensure fulfillment is completed as specified. The bank also maintains third-party partnerships for warehouse, services including new and re-deployable inventory as well as decommission and disposal of network assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees infrastructure delivery (scope, milestones, and capability) of the book of work and executes and monitors the progress of initiatives/projects to address roadblocks and issues proactively, including infrastructure impacted book of work and Technology Infrastructure (TI) strategic efforts

  • Acts as a single point of contact for all technology stakeholder needs including network, storage, server, and TI supporting software and serves as a point of escalation for issues and defining plans to resolve and communicate those problems requiring further attention

  • Reports on key metrics, prioritizes the work across the portfolio, and monitors the overall health of the portfolio

  • Manages trusted relationships with the business and technology leaders and prepares a detailed portfolio level plan to agree on deliverables, including service levels and milestones

  • Manages yearly and monthly initiative funding budget and allocations, providing financial transparency for Technology Cost of Application (TCOA) chargebacks, capital forecasting, initiative finances, and stale application volumes

  • Communicates Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) strategies, services, and products to technology stakeholders, advocates for top priorities within CTI, and influences change effectively through strong partnerships

  • Leads fellowship Communities of Practice (CPO) in the organization and across other delivery teams

  • Assist in managing supplier relationships providing strategic direction, devising, and establishing processes for Procurement and Warehouse Inventory Management functions

  • Serve as liaisonbetween the bank and 3rd Party partnersequipment suppliers working to solve asset-related issues

  • Maintain efficient warehouse and inventory practice, avoid new spend where existing/available inventory can be deployed

  • Oversee and report on 3rd Party partners procurement activities,providing data and insights

  • Establish and maintain Supply Chain Process, Controls & Documentation

  • Maintain Process, Controls & Documentation for the Vendor Engagement Function

  • Maintain history of events, status and reporting for the Vendor Engagement Function

  • Oversee all stages of equipment lifecycle form receiving through recovery & replacement, retirement, and disposal

  • Alignment of supplier routine and inventory methodologies

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience required in a Technology Services role involved in the delivery of technology services (network services preferred)

  • Understanding of industry methodologies and practices, process, documentation, metrics, and reporting

  • Familiarity with IT Service Delivery, Change Management, Controls and Regulations in the Financial Services Industry

  • Must have strong administration, facilitation, and organization skills

  • Ability to be flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues, and consistently react to shifting deadlines

  • Applied experience with 3rd Party Procurement, Warehousing, Staging, delivery & Field Services

  • Thorough understanding of Quote Methods and Equipment Specification

  • Process Control Manual (Playbook/Runbook) for Functional Area Activities & Procedures

  • History, Status, Metrics & Reporting for RDM Vendor Engagement Area

  • In depth knowledge around documentation techniques to producing and editing complex documents and process flows

  • Extensive Knowledge and applied experience with process tools, concepts, and conventions

Desired Qualifications:
