The Enterprise Storage Engineer III delivers and supports Enterprise Storage solutions using Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection Suite for backups. The Storage Engineer III position will support the delivery of new enterprise storage services and solutions, while supporting the existing DellEMC and NetApp storage arrays, as well as Cisco SAN fabrics, across a multiple-site environment at many PB of scale.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Will include instrumentation and operational functions using the NetApp OnCommand Unified Manager suite of tools- Insight (Assure, Platform, Plan, Balance), Performance Manager, System Manager, Workflow Automation, My Autosupport, Snap Creator Framework, and SnapCenter.
The role will support the research, testing, and implementation of storage solutions while participating in strategies for all future storage services to deliver Truist business objectives.
Will participate in vendor partnerships, assist in improving our overall storage service delivery, possess technical ability to troubleshoot and deliver our storage services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

4 Year Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Ten to fifteen years of experience in system design/architecture that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
Extensive knowledge and recent work experience in troubleshooting, implementing and supporting enterprise storage, SAN, storage management and security related technologies and platforms is required.
Preferred Requirements:
Extensive knowledge and recent work experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection Suite in an enterprise backup environment. Extensive and recent consulting or professional services experience in implementing Rubrik is a plus.
Experience with engineering solutions with DellEMC Networker and Data Domain VTL’s.
Experience in other storage delivery platforms such as NAS and Object (ECS or StorageGrid) would be beneficial and highly desirable.
10+ years of experience in an enterprise storage and SAN, complex design, implementation and troubleshooting analytics. Examples Below:
DellEMC enterprise storage technologies at large scale, in a highly available and regulated environment / Storage provisioning to AIX, Linux, Windows for physical as well as virtual platforms, primarily VMWare / Cisco UCS SAN Hardware & DCNM/NDFC Software. IP and FC SAN connectivity (NVMe experience is a plus) / 3+ years of experience developing infrastructure code in a cloud services environment, using Ansible or similar automation platform, including use of scripting language (i.e. Python, PowerShell).
