Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments, particularly focusing on iOS Mobile App Development. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

Job Summary

Your role within the Consumer mobile Team will include working closely with product management, mobile developers, and other software development engineers across our locations in the US and India to deliver high-quality code.

What You Will Do

  • Translates complex business requirements and functional specifications into executable stories, designs and code modules; partners with Product Team to understand business needs and functional specifications

  • Guides application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions and ensures that teams are in alignment with the architecture blueprint, standards, target state architecture, and strategies

  • Participates and mentor's other engineers in software development technologies and processes by creating onboarding documents, issue Root Cause Analysis (RCA), key learnings, demos and share-out sessions

  • Automates and simplifies team development, test, and operations processes

  • Evaluates new software, tools and technologies to provide objective analysis and recommendations to the team

Who You Are

  • Developer with experience developing and deploying high quality applications for iOS.

  • Knowledge of Apple’s development platforms and frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, Cocoa, CoreFoundation)

  • Familiarity with essential tools (Xcode, lldb, Instruments)

  • Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and MVC

  • Thorough understanding of scalability, reliability, and performance on iOS

  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and full-stack solutions

  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to bring clarity to early-stage product ideas

  • Understanding of accessibility best practices is a plus

  • Excellent communication and collaborative, analytical skills

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

  • 5 years of experience in software development or a related field

  • 4 years of experience in database technologies

  • 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field

  • 5 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization focusing on iOS development

  • 5 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software

  • 5 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment

  • 3 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

  • 3 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports

  • 5 years of experience working with source code control systems

  • Experience working with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment tools

  • 5 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions

Pay Range: $92,300.00 - $175,400.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
