Honeywell Sr Paralegal in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Sr Paralegal here at Honeywell, you will facilitate the legal department by assisting with legal research, drafting legal documents, and managing case files. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the legal team and contribute to the overall success of the organization. You will report directly to our Legal Counsel and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the legal department by providing valuable assistance in various legal matters, including contract management, litigation support, and regulatory compliance.

THE BUSINESS UNIT

The Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) at Honeywell is a division focused on corporate-level functions and initiatives that facilitate the overall operations and strategy of the company. It is accountable for overseeing areas such as finance, legal, human resources, communications, and corporate governance, working closely with other business units and SBGs to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct legal research and analysis to facilitate case preparation

• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts and agreements

• Maintain and organize case files, documents, and correspondence

• Assist in managing litigation matters, including coordinating with external counsel

• Support regulatory compliance efforts by monitoring and researching applicable laws and regulations

• Work with cross-functional teams to provide legal guidance and support on various projects

YOU MUST HAVE

• 4+ years of experience as a paralegal

WE VALUE

• Paralegal certification

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field

• Experience in contract management and litigation support

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements

• Strong knowledge of legal research and writing

• Proficiency in legal software and databases

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
