Sr Learning Specialist - GPMO and GPMO Academy


As a Sr Learning Specialist for GPMO and GPMO Academy here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver comprehensive training programs. Your expertise in instructional design, project management, and learning methodologies will be crucial in enhancing the capabilities of our project management professionals and driving organizational success. You will report directly to our Learning and Development Manager and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by: - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and gaps in project management knowledge and skills - Designing and delivering engaging and interactive training programs to address these needs and enhance the capabilities of project management professionals - Developing and implementing a comprehensive training curriculum for the GPMO Academy - Applying instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies to create effective training materials and resources - Managing training projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation - Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through data analysis and feedback - Continuously improving training methodologies and approaches to ensure maximum impact and engagement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and gaps in project management knowledge and skills

• Design and deliver engaging and interactive training programs to enhance the capabilities of project management professionals

• Design comprehensive learning strategy and deliver assets for GPMO Academy

• Apply instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies to create effective training materials and resources

• Manage training projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation

• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through data analysis and feedback

• Continuously improve training methodologies and approaches to ensure maximum impact and engagement

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of proven experience in instructional design and project management

• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies

• Experience in designing and delivering training programs for project management professionals

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong project management skills

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• Experience in managing training projects from planning to evaluation

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
