Job Summary

The Senior Director of Organizational Development and Effectiveness (ODE) will be responsible for leading initiatives that enhance the performance and efficiency of the organization and its associates for sustainable and profitable growth by driving organizational impact through strategic changes and planned interventions. This role will focus on designing and implementing strategies that leverage data analytics to improve organizational structures, processes, and culture, ensuring alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving transformational change in large, complex organizations.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive organizational effectiveness strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify organizational needs and develop plans to address them.

  • Lead initiatives to build a high-performance culture that supports continuous improvement and innovation.

Organizational Design and Development:

  • Assess and support redesign of organizational structures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Oversee the development of role clarity, competency models, and career paths to ensure organizational agility.

  • Facilitate organizational diagnostics and health assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Change Management:

  • Lead large-scale change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.

  • Develop and support the execution of change management plans, including communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder engagement activities.

  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.

Performance Improvement:

  • Utilize data-driven approaches to identify performance gaps and implement solutions to address them.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and satisfaction.

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of organizational development initiatives.

Culture and Employee Engagement:

  • Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.

  • Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.

  • Foster an environment of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Project Management: Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to align HR and organizational strategies with business objectives.

  • Cultivates Innovation: Strong knowledge and experience in developing new and better ways to drive success in complex organizations.

  • Resourcefulness: Ability to secure and deploy resources effectively and efficiently across an organization.

  • Balances Stakeholders: Demonstrated skill in anticipating and balancing the needs of key stakeholders within the organization.
