Job Description
The Owned Channel Marketing Activation team at U.S. Bank currently seeks an accomplished Adobe Target Developer. Responsibilities revolve chiefly around the implementation of content personalization campaigns on our public website and Next Best Action offers in our secure online banking portal and award-winning mobile app. An understanding of Target’s native integrations with other Adobe Experience Cloud solutions such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform, and Adobe Journey Optimizer and deep expertise in building campaigns and multi-variate tests in Adobe Target are critical requirements. The ideal candidate will play a significant role in planning and delivering the company’s digital marketing initiatives while working on an Agile, industry-leading team of marketers, data analysts, and technologists. The role requires strong software engineering, project management, and relationship-building skills.
Essential Responsibilities:
Continually acquires and applies detailed knowledge of the bank’s various lines of business, website/mobile app architecture, digital operating model, and marketing strategy
Defines and documents client business requirements, key performance indicators, and other functional and/or technical requirements
Designs Adobe Target technical solutions to drive multi-touch/multi-channel experiences that support our customer journeys
Proactively solves or helps to solve the team’s tagging, web analytics, A/B testing, and cross-channel personalization and attribution challenges
Uses real-time web analytics to monitor results and optimize/influence test outcomes
Writes custom code as needed and assists with its testing, validation, and deployment
Troubleshoots issues and follows through on investigation until resolved
Advises key stakeholders and drives to success based on the business line’s goals and objectives
Engages proactively and confidently via phone, email, and/or in-person with colleagues including marketers, analysts, web developers, and senior executives
Manages stakeholders’ expectations appropriately while keeping projects on schedule and in scope
Helps educate internal customers on marketing best practices in relation to their key business goals and requirements
Creates clear, accurate, and effective technical documents and PowerPoint presentations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of relevant experience
Required Skills/Experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience working with Adobe Target or similar digital targeting and marketing automation technologies
Experience executing in both Adobe Target’s Visual Experience Composer as well as the more traditional Form-based implementation
Solid understanding of digital marketing and data reporting
Experience with tag management systems and data layers
Experience working with Adobe Analytics or similar tools
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM, CORS, and other web standards and protocols
Good JavaScript/jQuery skills
Good understanding of RESTful APIs
Passion for the digital domain and use of technology to solve business problems
Ability to learn new technologies at a high level and to identify opportunities for new approaches
Sharp understanding of general business models, concepts, and strategies
Tireless self-motivation, responsiveness, professionalism, and dedication to customer success
Possesses an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively
Website optimization consulting experience
Experience working on Agile marketing teams
Preferred Skills/Experience
Prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus
Knowledge of server-side, mobile app, and SPA-based Target implementation is a plus
Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer and Adobe Experience Platform is desirable but not required
Web development experience (angular.js, react.js, node.js) is a bonus
Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00 - $136,400.00
