Job Summary

About Us: Compass Group North America is a dynamic and rapidly growing company that values innovation, excellence, and teamwork. We are currently seeking a results-driven and motivated Senior Sales Director to lead our Corporate Services, CCL Hospitality Group, and Compass One Healthcare Inside Sales Team. This full-time, salaried position is based remotely, offering a unique opportunity for a self-starter to contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Sales Director, you will lead and inspire a team of 7-12 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) / Business Development Representatives (BDRs) while actively participating in special projects. Reporting to the RVP of Inside Sales and rolling up to the Sales Operations Department.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and leading the success of the Corporate Services Inside Sales Team, Exceeding team goals

  • Fostering a servant leadership attitude with a constant appetite for 1% improvement

  • Demonstrating high emotional intelligence, making decisions based on what's best for your team and the company

  • Utilizing data and insights to make improvements

  • Mentoring and supporting SDRs/BDRs to achieve their goals

  • Thinking outside the box and leading the team in special projects and sector-specific calling campaigns

  • Collaborating with the RVP to create training plans for new and tenured sellers

  • Utilizing CRM and sales enablement platforms to ensure KPIs are met for sector-specific sales teams

  • Maintaining relationships with sector-specific marketing teams, leadership, and operations to provide valuable content

Preferred Requirements: We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Proficient in CRM databases and Windows-based office software

  • Previous SDR/BDR experience and industry knowledge

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to set boundaries, prioritize tasks, and lead by example

  • Proficiency in using multiple sales research tools and digital/social media

  • Managerial experience is preferred

  • Glass-half-full mentality and outlook
