In this role, you will:
Utilize practices to perform advanced quality assurance and self-assurance activities including comprehensive reviews of multiple types of executive office transactions and case review quality assurance activities in support of federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory requirements
Perform advanced, comprehensive regulatory or high risk reviews of multiple types of executive resolution transactions and case reviews within multiple inventory types
Identify risk and problem areas and recommend improvement
Evaluate case intake, distribution, research, communication and resolution
Ensure customer issues are addressed while maintaining compliance with internal company requirements and standards and agency or government regulations
Ensure identified risks or problems are clearly documented and interact with appropriate parties for timely resolution
Perform second-level reviews
Mentor less experienced colleagues and assist with their development
Ensure corrective action on exceptions and problems identified
Provide guidance to team regarding documentation and resolution requirements
Communicate overall process or transaction quality
Provide feedback to appropriate contacts regarding identified material deficiencies or issues including identification of inconsistencies
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within business and contribute to large-scale, cross-functional planning related to mitigation of current and emerging business risk issues and concerns
Assess, analyze, and design moderately complex controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
Independently make decisions and resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging solid understanding of the business’s functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; lead peers and key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to address current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance or support in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
Partner with peers and the business in interactions with external parties to support appropriateness and timeliness of response, and effectiveness of communications and materials
May serve as a mentor for lower-level staff
Support performance of less experienced staff and the overall effectiveness of activities relating to risk mitigation or control efforts on behalf of the business; proactively provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing associated processes and tools
Perform complex administrative, transactional, monitoring, reporting, and coordination tasks
Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced staff
Interact with immediate team, functional area, and internal peers outside of work group on a wide range and variety of information
