Our client in the finance industry is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant V to join their team. As a QA Lead, you will be part of the Enterprise Finance Technology's QA Team supporting a small team of onshore and offshore QA testers for testing of specific application(s) in a highly automated environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing planning & execution, both manual and automated testing, and a heavy focus on automated testing.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Consultant V

Location: Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

• Provide technical guidance to a small team of onshore and offshore QA testers for testing of specific application(s) in a highly automated environment

• Develop detailed, comprehensive & well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional and compliance requirements

• Support test planning, usually at an agile team level, ensuring stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria

• Identify automation opportunities, develop test automation for applicable test types & Should be automation proficient in at least one tool - Selenium and/or RAFT using Java, or UFT. Experience with Python is a plus

• Communicate effectively and become part of a team. Team members support each other to deliver

What's Needed?

• Extensive 10+ years of experience in testing planning & execution, both manual and automated testing

• Familiarity with developing detailed, comprehensive & well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional and compliance requirements

• Strong web application, API & web services testing experience

• Strong base on complex SQL and exposure to ETL

• Familiarity with all or some of the following technologies, JavaScript, C# or Java, VB Script, Relational DBs and Kafka
