Siemens Energy Process Operator/ CNC Machinist in Charlotte, North Carolina

A Snapshot of Your Day

Set-up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment using CNC controls for multiple operations on transitions, to include but not limited to machining, bonding, welding, manual machining and hand tools, etc..

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • EmbraceSafety & Quality Culture.

  • Requiredto lift / move 50lbs of materials

  • Interpretdetailed drawings/sketches, blueprints, manufactures specifications, etc.,and figures out necessary tools to perform required machining operations

  • Usingmaterial handling devices (Jib & B/C cranes and forklifts),loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator.

  • FollowsSiemens established procedures to operate machinery and equipment.

What You Bring

  • Minimumeducation required: High School diploma or GED

  • Mustpossess 3 years of CNC experience (ability to read and understand program)in machining, welding, laser or other applications.

  • Obtainfork truck/crane license

  • Abilityto: use shop math, follow complex drawings, perform complex metrology

  • Mustbe capable of wearing a respirator, and must pass a Process OperatorCompetency Test.

  • CareerReadiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status required

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
