Job Title: Plumbing Designer

Job Description

This position provides plumbing design services to support the production of construction drawings and specifications. The role involves designing plumbing systems for both large and small projects, preparing various reports and meeting minutes, and producing design documents.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing systems for large and small projects.

• Interact and work directly with architects and owners.

• Prepare various reports and meeting minutes.

• Produce design documents including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Essential Skills

• 5 plus years of experience in plumbing design including waste and vent systems, supply systems, roof drain calculations and design, equipment and fixture selection, shop drawing review, assessment of existing systems and facilities, and field observation and reporting.

• Familiarity with the International Plumbing Code and NFPA 13.

• Competence in REVIT and AutoCAD.

Work Environment

The work environment includes the use of technologies such as REVIT and AutoCAD. The position involves interacting and working directly with architects and owners, and preparing various reports and meeting minutes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00
