The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
SCOPE/PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Planview system support analyst will provide application support across the enterprise. This support will include, but is not limited to, system configuration, system support, and user support. This role will also partner with various divisions to gain an understanding of their business processes and how the Planview toolset will support their strategic roadmap and enable efficiency within their business.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enterprise System Administration of Planview Portfolios, AgilePlace, ProjectPlace, & IdeaPlace
License and user permission management
Enterprise configuration of Planview
Administer Planview SOX compliance process
ServiceNow queue management and ticket resolution including working with vendor and IT on technical issues
Performance metric creation and tracking via ServiceNow
MS Power BI dashboard and reporting development and maintenance
Participate on Planview enterprise projects as needed
Translate enterprise needs and best practices into tools & systems
Facilitate continuous improvement of available tools and methods
Participate in development of roadmap
Engage in change management activities; working closely with Leadership, Resource Managers, Project Managers, and Division Engineers
Release management of Planview
Govern/maintain the various Planview environments
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, business, or related subject
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-7 years of experience, preferably with software/system support
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Planview (Portfolios, ProjectPlace, AgilePlace and IdeaPlace) knowledge
Technical curiosity for system capabilities
SharePoint expertise
MS Power BI Dashboard development
ServiceNow expertise and queue management
SQL knowledge preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to reach out across the organization and communicate with people at different levels, with diverse needs and agendas
Self-motivated and results oriented mindset with experience in project management, software and application development methodologies
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Proven success working in a highly matrixed environment
Proven experience in managing multiple vendors
Strong relationship building skills
Strong communication skills both written and spoken
Excellent interpersonal skills
Change management experience with certification a plus

Remote

The range for this position is $86,904.00 - $119,493.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
