Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Panel Builder to join our team in South Charlotte. As a Panel Builder, you will be responsible for fabricating PLC panels, managing inventory for beverage and processing departments, and working with wire diagrams and electrical schematics. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and requires flexibility with shift timings.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate PLC panels.

  • Manage inventory for beverage and processing departments.

  • Work with wire diagrams and electrical schematics.

  • Terminate wires and solder to various panels to customer specifications.

  • Troubleshoot and run quality checks on equipment during the build to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Work effectively within a matrix-managed organization.

  • Meet technical challenges with creative and innovative solutions.

  • Effectively present concepts and ideas.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and a work ethic that aligns with company core values.

  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Utilize excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office platform.

  • Understand PLC/HMI programming

  • Work independently and within a team, generating results with minimal guidance from management.

  • Become thoroughly knowledgeable with the project's contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.

  • Develop and maintain the project master schedule using CPM techniques and appropriate scheduling software with input from other project management personnel.

  • Manage document control, receive and log in new issue drawings and other contract documents, and maintain the document control log.

  • Identify workplace safety hazards and take all necessary corrective actions to eliminate or minimize them.

Essential Skills

  • Blueprint reading.

  • Control panel fabrication.

  • Panel building and wiring.

  • Understanding wiring schematics and diagrams.

  • Experience with Siemens equipment.

  • Electrical engineering knowledge.

  • Project management experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and project management software.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00
