Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for our chemical plant. The ideal candidate will have experience with motors, pumps, and sensor troubleshooting, including heat, pressure, photo eyes, and flow sensors. You must be experienced in reading blueprints and electrical diagrams, and have prior experience in chemical manufacturing. Safety is a top priority in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.

  • Maintain and repair motors and pumps.

  • Conduct sensor troubleshooting for heat, pressure, photo eyes, and flow sensors.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

  • Handle electrical, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with motors and pumps.

  • Sensor troubleshooting: heat, pressure, photo eyes, flow.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.

  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience in chemical manufacturing.

  • Emphasis on safety in all operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with hydraulics.

  • Preventive maintenance expertise.

  • Electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $70720.00

Health, Dental, Vision, 401K if offered by company. There will also be opportunities for bonuses and pay increases based on performance metrics.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Charlotte,NC.
